Discover the fully automatic, digital circular polarimeter Unipol V – specially developed as your ideal entry-level solution for the food industry. Whether sugar refinery or starch measurement, the UniPol V gives you an effortless start to precise and reliable raw material control.
Thanks to its simple operation, exceptional durability and maximum efficiency, the UniPol V is also ideal for quality control in many other industries, such as the animal feed, beverage and cosmetics industries.
Benefit from a cost-effective, user-friendly and low-maintenance entry-level polarimeter that will make your day-to-day work easier in the long term.
The measuring range of ± 89.9° can be shifted in 90° increments via the software to enable measurements of +/- 360°. The user-friendly menu structure of the device’s Aquisys 3 software is easy to operate via the touch display. A practical software design allows the user to enter sample ID numbers, calculate statistical analyses and configure a user-defined printout of the measurement results. The measured values are shown on the large 7 inch display.
The fully automatic digital polarimeter UniPol V was specially designed for the quality control of optically active substances in the food industry and is also used in the animal feed, beverage and cosmetics industries. It enables reliable analysis of raw materials such as starch and various types of sugar and is also ideal as a classic sugar polarimeter, for example for determining the sugar content.
The standard model of the UniPol V is equipped with a light source of 589 nm. Other wavelengths, such as 882 nm, can also be integrated on request. For the different applications of our customers, polarimeter tubes made of glass and stainless steel are available, which cover a wide range of samples and chemicals. Thanks to the use of microtubes, even the smallest sample volumes are sufficient. Many polarimeter tubes and all quartz plates are equipped with a temperature sensor. The type of tube, i.e. the length of the tube or the type of quartz plate, is automatically transmitted to the UniPol V. The tube length is determined by the temperature. The tube length is corrected depending on the temperature. In addition to a serial interface, the UniPol V also has two USB interfaces, ideal for connecting a barcode reader or a keyboard.
Maintenance and calibration can be carried out conveniently with high-quality quartz control plates, which are manufactured directly in our company in the heart of Berlin.
